Our Story

Sollano Cleaning Services is a family and locally owned business in Nelson/Tasman.

Our humble beginning started in 2017 by the founder of Sollano Cleaning Services, Mercy Sollano.

Before running a successful business, Mercy was a previous educator for over 20 years. She is highly skilled and experienced early childhood teacher. Mercy also completed a business course at Barbican. Mercy is known for her warmth, cheerfulness, and love for cleaning!

Mercy runs Sollano Cleaning Services alongside her husband, Elmer who was a previous head chef. Elmer is highly respected and sought after chef who have worked around many countries such as Hongkong, Japan, Saudi Arabia, etc. Before Sollano Cleaning Services, he was the head chef of a prestigious hotel and restaurant in Marlborough Sounds. Elmer is known for his efficiency, eye for details and meticulousness.

Sollano Cleaning Services started with two residential clients, and now have over 50 residential and commercial clients.

The staff of Sollano Cleaning Service are known to be efficient, hardworking, and respectful of clients space, and with this Sollano Cleaning Services has managed to built an extensive list of regular clients.
